She never stops chattering as she works
kneading my lump like a
piece of pillowy dough till it is ready for the oven. My body, a yielding molten log,
which she pummels to a pulp
with her hands – and her feet
walking up and down my torso.

I now have the mental agility of a fat toad.
Then pure sleep.
